Escat Gallery was founded in Barcelona as the evolution of a curatorial project grounded in research, artistic intimacy, and sustained commitment to artists.
The main space, located in Trafalgar Street, functions as the core of the gallery’s programme, presenting exhibitions that combine conceptual rigor and narrative coherence. Each exhibition is conceived as a space for critical reflection and dialogue with contemporary practices.
The gallery has expanded with a second space in Sarrià — conceived as a project room dedicated to emerging processes and more experimental formats — as well as a studio in Mahón (Menorca), focused on production, research, and the development of new artistic projects.

Escat Gallery works with its artists from a long-term perspective, accompanying them throughout all stages of their professional development. The project is built on sustained collaboration, with particular attention to critical consolidation and the international projection of national artists.
Operating between the local context and a broader global dialogue, Escat Gallery contributes to strengthening the contemporary cultural ecosystem, fostering institutional connections and creating spaces for shared thought.
Founder and director Pau Escat brings over a decade of experience in the art sector, combining curatorial vision, strategic development, and close collaboration with artists and cultural agents.
The gallery is supported by a dedicated team, including Martina Capdevila, Gallery Manager at Escat Trafalgar, and Mireia Zarco, Gallery Manager at Escat Sarrià.
